(\u201cCol\u201d), a leading Italian business, owned by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. (\u201cOaktree\u201d), specialising in critical components and advanced solutions for smart grid applications in medium and high voltage electrical infrastructure today announced that they have finalised the acquisition of TeamWare.<\/p>\n\n<p>TeamWare was founded in 1988 in Milan, Italy and is a dynamic engineering company specialized in designing and manufacturing equipment and systems for electrical grids monitoring and control. Working with key global utilities and industrial players, TeamWare has developed a highly innovative technology portfolio of electrical measurements, smart grid automation power quality systems and remote controls for the energy industry \u2013 these technologies, combined with Col\u2019s product portfolio, are all enablers to the energy transition, a key pillar of Col\u2019s strategy.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cThis compelling combination brings together best-in-class energy security equipment manufacturing and services, and digital technology offerings for the benefit of all customers and stakeholders accompanying them towards a sustainable energy transition. The combination of our complementary assets will create a platform capable of seamless integration while we enhance our ability to deliver optimized and integrated solutions and increase touch points with our customers. In addition, with employees of Col and TeamWare coming together, the newly created Col Group will be an industry leader, well-positioned to compete in the Energy Security T&amp;D industry while pushing the boundaries of innovation for our customers.\u201d Alessandro Col, Chief Executive Officer at Col Group said.<\/p>\n\n<p> \u201cBoth companies\u2019 employees will benefit significantly from being part of a larger, stronger company that is positioned for long-term growth.
