Such an infrastructure will interconnect high voltage and medium voltage networks in order to provide electricity to the city of La Spezia. The station is being built inside an existing industrial area, to avoid use of new soil.<br\/>An environmentally friendly approach is intended to maximize the project\u2019s value and ensure its entire implementation.
